  Notes

  This road has always struck me as being a "line on a map" Interstate. Mainly it exists more so people can have a path through the Appalchains than to relieve congestion on that busy Roanoke-Harrisburg route. I have used this road many many times despite ever wanting to be in any city along its path. It definitely serves a purpose as far as I am concerned :)
